The NNECL conference will again bring sectors together to unite staff striving to champion the educational success of care experienced students.

The Programme:

09:15am - Registration/refreshments and networking

09:45am - Welcome and NNECL Chairs update from Kay Bridger and Priya Clarke

09:55am - An overview of NNECL commissioned research: Moving on Up, Pathways of care leavers and care-experienced students into and through higher education

10:15am - Keynote: Lisa Cherry, Inspirational speaker on trauma, recovery and resilience

11.10am - Professor Les Ebdon, Director of Fair Access to Higher Education

11:25am -  Coffee break

11:45am -   Workshop 1

12:45pm -   LUNCH and networking

1:45pm -     Keynote: Robert Goodwill, MP Minister of State for Children and Families 

2:15pm -     Aspire to More project - Inspired Youth, York City Council

2:45pm     Workshop 2

3.45pm -     Closing remarks

4.00pm -     Finish

Payment to be made by card at the time of booking.

Delegate cost to attend the conference is £95.00.  Concessions for students and care leavers.
