The University of Liverpool is committed to working with and supporting care experienced young people, both prior to entry and throughout their studies at the University.
The central Widening Participation and Outreach team provides a range of opportunities for young people to engage with the University that are designed to raise awareness and aspirations of higher education as well as support attainment.
Subject specific mentoring is just one of the activities that we offer. Experienced University of Liverpool student mentors are available for 1-to-1 or small group subject mentoring out within schools and colleges. A range of subjects can be catered for at GCSE and A Level. Mentors also share their experiences of being at university and raise awareness of post-16 options and higher education.
Mentoring is available for young people in schools or groups based in the Merseyside area only.
