21/12/2015Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) in care UEA research project

The University of East Anglia would like to talk to young people who are LGBTQ and have spent time in care.  The research will be looking into LGBT young people’s experiences in the care system, in order to try to improve support and services.

The team would like to interview 40 LGBT young people all over England about their lives and their time in care. They will also be doing interviews, focus groups, and a nation-wide survey with foster carers and professionals who work with young people in the care system.
