The care experienced young people’s network; a small group of care experienced people (CEP) who are funded by Esmee Fairbairn to explore and raise awareness of the issues surrounding CEP, and help steer some of the Learning Programme activities.

The care experienced young peoples network are doing a few research projects at the moment, and one of them is about housing for care leavers. As part of this they are running a survey about what helps and hinders care leavers when finding and maintaining a place to live, and what makes a home. The responses to the survey, along with some interviews, will form a short report which will launch later this year.

We are reaching out to ask you to help us promote this survey to professionals who support CEP, and CEP themselves. There’s a prize draw that means 50 CEP will win £15, and they would really appreciate as many people’s input as possible in this work. Please promote this survey link, along with the attached image, to anyone in your organisation or network you think might have insight on this topic as well as the care experienced people you support.
