NNECL webinar: What should policy makers prioritise for CE Learners education?
With a General Election due to take place in 2024 we’re keen to know what you think policy makers, in the next Government, should prioritise for care experienced leaners? To start this listening, we’ll be hosting an online discussion with a panel of experienced practitioners on Wednesday 21 February 2024, 12 mid-day - 13.00 pm.
We know that you, as NNECL members, have a deep understanding of your care experienced learners experience and strongly feel this knowledge should feed into the development of our work. We’ll be using the themes of the discussion to help shape on going conversations with industry stakeholders, as well inform our business planning in 2024 and beyond.
We're delighted to welcome our panel for this discussion:
- Joshua Williams, Head of Policy and Communications- National Youth Advocacy Service
- Dr Neil Harrison, Associate Professor in Education and Social Justice, Graduate School of Education, University of Exeter
- Dr Jim Goddard, Chair of The Care Leavers Association
To keep learners at the heart of what we do, will also be consulting directly with students through our Student Voices Network.
